Second Half of Senator Pipkin’s Testimony on MDE’s Proposed BAT Septic Regulations

Here is the second half of Senator Pipkin’s testimony before the AELR Committee on the Maryland Department of the Environment’s Best Available Technology (BAT) regulations.
You will not get to see this information anywhere else, but this is what is wrong with Annapolis and what is happening to your representative form of government. The Executive Branch through its agencies like the Department of Planning and the Maryland Department of the Environment are taking over the functions of the legislative branch of government by virtue of their issuance of regulations that take away private property rights and the sovereignty of local government.

Senator Pipkin Addresses the AELR Committee on the MDE’s Proposed Septic Regulations.

Senator E.J. Pipkin addressed the Administrative, Executive, Legislative Review Committee on the Maryland Department of the Environment’s proposed “Best Available Technology” (BAT) regulations. This tells you what no one in the press is reporting about how the MDE is an organization out of control.

This is your opportunity to let the State know that you disagree with the State taking land use and value without just compensation. This is your last chance to fight against over reaching intrusive regulations that seeks to stop all growth in the rural areas of the State and force people to leave the State or move into the urban areas of the State.

If you can not attend contact your legislators and tell them to stand up for your real property rights and to fight against the restrictions the State seeks to impose on land owners in the rural areas of the State.

Secretary Hall Came Before the Eastern Shore Caucus To Discuss PlanMd

Delegate Smigiel, live tweeted some of the events from today’s visit to the Eastern Shore Caucus by Secretary Hall on PlanMd.  The entire delegation expressed the outrage that constituents are feeling over the intrusiveness of PlanMd.  Secretary Hall did eventually admit that if local authority disagrees with his departments recommendations then the State will with hold permitting to complete projects or with hold money for school construction or roads projects.  Yet, he calls this a free choice not to follow the State’s recommendations for how local property is developed or zoned.  For a local report on the hearing see the  link below.  We will post indepth notes later.

GOVERNOR O’MALLEY’S ENTRY INTO THE CONTEST TO FIND THE MOST GERRYMANDERED DISTRICT IN AMERICA

Click here   Dist_3 to see the most gerrymandered district in America.

Dist_3 Contiguous and compact? Not hardly!

Dist_3We invite anyone to find a more Gerrymandered district in America than the third Congressional district in Maryland.  The Governor had one purpose in mind in creating this new map and that was to put in play a congressional seat currently held by a Republican and thus help President Obama, thereby proving his worth to the National Democratic Party.

Submit your entries and we will see if anyone is more Machiavellian in their use of raw political power in furthering their political objectives than the Bully from Baltimore has been in his recent redistricting.
